Because I was only doing 6/10ths of a mile for today.

I'm doing squats and dead lifts tomorrow, so I didn't want to burn all my leg juice. Running still relatively strains me. After dead lifts and squats, then I'm running a mile w/ my workout partner (this one was on my own).
Sometimes, I'll do a large lap around my neighborhood.
Mini lap is on the top, pretty self explanatory.
Big lap is on the bottom
I used MSpaint to help alleviate confusion.
I start at the black X, follow until the point where it meets up w/ the blue line, blue line shows the rest of the route, ends at blue X.
Mini one is .6 miles, large one is 1.2 miles.
Today was a scheduled mini lap, though, I'd have just done a second mini lap at the pace I was going, provided I had looked at my timer prior to stopping.
There is a third run I do. If I want to cheat on my diet and eat candy, dollar general is .95 miles away from my house. I jog there, get candy and jog home for roughly 2 miles.
