I've done some observation in an inner city classroom, and yeah a lot of them were using excuses and ducking out of whatever they could, but they're not bad kids. Really, most of them actually give a crap about their future, but they've got some skewed sense of reality, and I think that comes in part with the whole school attitude. I mean 12+ years of relentless compulsory school does that to a child, especially those that are so centered around popularity and sports versus the education they need. I don't think so. From the trailers, it looks like they butchered the hell out of that classic story. On the other hand, "What's Your Number" has Anna Faris in it.
Was never really a fan of Classic stories, but I liked 3 Musketeers.. However I'm pretty sure if you were a fan of the classics, you're not going to like the new one very much.
The ending pretty much guarantees there will be a sequel though. |
