Maybe it's for the best. They're addicting and it can be pretty hard to not want one every time you see the damned can.. I really love the taste of Red Bull and NOS..

I only ever use/used the mouse. Drove me nuts. Plus it always seemed like the most effective strategy was to bum rush. Either you just take your 4 SCVs and find them, or you get to the first basic unit type and spam the hell out of it, even only 2~3 at a time before they get base defenses up, and they're pretty much done. I haven't started playing yet, but I think SC2 is a vast improvement over SC when it comes to community.
You also can only have on b.net account per SC2 license. I had to buy a second game just so I could play on EU server with friends. Minor annoyance, but it is for the best, I think.
I'm primarily a mouse player. Working to break that habit though. My main issue is not knowing things like building hotkeys, or forgetting to hotkey a building I'm going to be using for upgrades.

Hopefully it will be. Maybe I'll pick up on the eventual, and get into Battlenet again. Random think about the community sometime after you get into it some more.
I can never do the whole hotkey thing. Poor short term memory, so I generally forget what I have hotkeyed. In the the first one though, I got rather proficient with my mouse. I was fast enough to have Dark Templars(Yeah, I'm a sucker for Protoss) within the first 5 minutes. Then I'd have a distraction air fleet, dropships/scouts, would bust in and destroy their resource harvesters. It didn't always work, but against average joe it was fairly effective.

I only play Protoss. Especially with all the new units and whatnot to learn for the other races. I would bang my head against the desk if I tried Zerg right now.

ok so here is my random thought .. Z girl need some advice.. My girl who looks up to me and leans on me her bday is tomorrow and she wants me to go out with her for her bday../shrug aight, i dont mind i can DD..
Now she invites this other girl im soooooooo not liking..she screams nasty news trouble trouble and i reallllllllly dont like her at all ..
Can I decline to go out bc of the other girl >_> or am i a crappy friend for bailing on the bday :<

I've been known to be a "stubborn ***" about rejecting invitations knowing full well who was going to be there, but it's better than being caught with an annoying drunkard that is just going to offend you all night.
Maybe you can reach a compromise. Maybe suggest that girl only join for a portion of the night so you can still have fun with your gal-pal?
Anything to avoid table-flipping scenarios! LOL!

Still great friends too, dunno why I used past tense. Yet, he had this friend who was a complete jackass. I always put up with said jackass(because my friend cannot say no to the guy for some stupid reason), and it made my friend feel really tight with me. I bet you could handle it, but at the same time it wouldn't make you any less of a friend in my eyes(if you didn't go). There were times where I pretty much didn't understand why I stuck to my guns and stuck around when that jackass got to tag along. Times where my friend didn't understand it either. Guess that's why we got really close.

On one hand its her birthday... on the other... you might kill the other person so that would ruin said birthday... Personally I'd go just to celebrate the birthdayness with the friend if we were close... I'd also let her know that I disliked her friend too...
