and yes I thought the difficulty was fair, for Black/Sigma anyway, 2 had some cheaper elements at times. The dudes with the rocket launchers ring a bell. I'd take it personally too if a game told me "bro, you *** suck, were forcing you to play on easier difficulty, git gud ***"

So I just learned that in one of the DLC in Stranger of paradise, it has blue mage job. And one of the upgrade version for this job is called "Soulflayer".
This blue mage has to be the blue mage from FFXI lol. Only FFXI BLU turns into a Soulflayer! I almost never buy dlc for games unless it is included in a bundle. This is the first time that I feel I want to buy dlc just for BLU nostalgia.

But the difficulty scale once you hit Nyzul DLC is absurd, and the gear requires way too much fine tuning it gets kinda confusing.

Im playing thru SH2 on my steam deck for the first time. I always had the game since I was a kid but I was always too afraid to play it, I remember just quitting after you encounter the first monster lol. It's been fun but its so clunky, I can't believe people were honestly complaining about the first trailers combat when the original game was such a low baseline.
Also the original game is going for like 130~150 on ebay, why do people buy those.
