Last time someone ganked me, it was this taru named Alitabattleangl or something. Charm had 4 seconds left. I'd killed 3 Valainerals and 1 August, and was only hitting him for like 60 damage a swing and got Leaden'd for 42k :/

I only use shadows on Dumakulem, but he doesn't have Raisin Jimmies access anyway, so he's restricted to Zitah and Ru Aun.

It originated in FFV. Each character's jobs had their own levels seperate from character levels, and the stars was the indicator on the job change page for when you'd capped that job. Bartz gets them above his head in Dissidia when in EX Mode too.

We had two consecutive months of EXP campaigns that concluded just as I started taking endgame seriously, causing me to look back with a regretful "Oh, for fu--"

I did eventually grind my Blue Mage up to the 1200 Job Point gift, and my Corsair found its way to complete Mastery just from regular Sheol C clears with friends. But I've been trying to spend my time as efficiently as possible, taking advantage of whatever campaigns are going on at the time, or focusing on non-campaign events in between them, such as catching up on story missions or slowly chipping away at Assaults for my Captain rank.

Naw, I'm going for my Tizona. Blue Mage is still my true love, and my Corsair is already stacked with a Fomalhaut and Rostam anyway. I'd rather have a rotation of "pretty good" jobs than put all my eggs in one basket. Not only do I like the variety, it also seems like more bang for one's buck.

I know what you mean. Plus the jobs in XI are so fun, it's nice to be able to swap to something comparable or with a totally different skillset when you need it or want it.

I've i119-III'd my Excalibur, Mandau, and Ragnarok so far. Need to get back to work on my Kogarasumaru (still need 25k Alex and 145k tokens and the ZNM items). (After I finish the Oboro grind in early June, I'll probably pick Relics to augment since I hear Dyna D windy clear is a pain, but then I should probably try to commit and get in a Dyna D shell. Jetackuu invited me to the Packets Discord, but I haven't gotten a pearl and haven't tried to get in on one of his runs. I guess I'm kind of chicken when it comes to grouping these days)

Kinda slowly waffling towards an Ukonvasara since I gave into my base WAR nature again, in spite of sticking to RDM and BLU for a lot of my LP. I was gonna do Rhongomiant, but for some reason I just haven't had any strong desires to play DRG since I got it to 99. Kinda weird because I love DRG in XI, but I don't think I'm in love with DRG in XI...

Wish I could get into an Aeonic group. I probably have the beads for it now, but I know jack ***about Geas Fete. Chango looks pretty appealing but so do a lot of other ones. Why does everything in XI have to be so damn desirable?

A. non-REMA guns are better than Fomal for leaden before you get DP anyway.

B. Yagrush is the best mythic.

C. Tizona is cool, wish I could utilize it better.

This isn't even the real April Fool's joke. No, the real joke is that they're going to actually add a few of these changes and make everybody lose their minds trying to figure out which other ones are actually real. They did that last year. People were running all over Vana'diel trying to figure out some of the more obscure ones XD

If you ain't got 15 minutes, watch literally the first minute. You'll want to know more.

Not I, would rather read Blood, Sweat, and Pixels: The Triumphant, Turbulent Stories Behind How Video Games Are Made by Jason Schreier instead. It is a book that is often recommended for die hard video game fans.

The problem with this kind of video is that every failed game project has their own unique challenges. Sometimes a game is bad because a team doesn't have right people to begin with. Sometimes it is people/team problems, technical problems, design problems, resources problems or art problems. Each failed games have a LOT of story behind it.

By simplifying ALL the different unique problems in different projects into "this game is bad because of capitalism!!!". to me, it doesn't really touch the real core issue unique to project.

Therefore, nothing to learn from nor improve on. All it left is a hollow "capitalism sucks" emotions.

I wonder if I'll ever get to go segment farming with Jessi again.

That was my first segment farm and it was 1.1mil. It was so nice.

It was a great run! We were down a sixth and I saw Vyre was online. Next time that happens, I'll be sure to scout for you again!

But y'know, I see /yells for segment farming runs all the time. Even if you don't want to wait, you could probably throw a pick-up group together yourself. It's definitely profitable. And you need as many segments as you can get for Sheol-Gaol bosses, so it never hurts to go.

If you ever liked TWD, watch the Ones Who Live. It was very good. And I didn't like the last few seasons.
