That's awesome! Yeah, those +2 AF3 pieces really help bring a character/job into the big leagues. I noticed such a spontaneous leap in performance when I started getting my Sortie upgrades.

One of the little nitpicky things that always bothered me about FFXI is that sitting is an aggro-able offense. Even if the enemy is Too Weak, it'll attack you. Or if someone pulls an enemy near you, you could become one of its targets (though not necessarily on its enmity list).

It sucks, because when I'm waiting for something to happen, I want my character to be seated and comfortable (especially with the new'ish /sitchair feature). But doing so anywhere outside of a town could spell certain death.

It happened to me once back in like 2007, and I'm still paranoid. I wasn't even afk that time, I was just waiting by the iron gate in Caedarva Mire for someone to show up for an EXP party. But someone aggroed an Imp along the way and ran past me to get to the gate. It switched its attention to me because I was seated, and knocked me out before anyone could even react to it.

WOAH. Blood and Honey two IS OUT ALREADY IN THEATERS.

They're annoying, but keep grinding and they will come. And your feeling that a "standard" TP set today functions like a high DPS "hybrid" set of 7 years ago is 100% accurate. On WAR these days I find it almost hard to be under 30% DT in any TP set, outside of those Tatenashi acolytes who like to wear rice paper for armor ^^

Not even just Warrior; practically every job. -50% DT is basically the baseline for most modern content. So many enemies have AoE autoattacks and heavy-hitting TP moves.

Vyre saw firsthand the other day when he joined my friends and I for a segment run. I was the unfortunate victim of a Nostos Manticore inflicting 2600 damage through one Utsusemi shadow and -50% DT with good ole Deadly Hold. By my math, that's about 10.4k damage lol

Yesterday my friends and I did V5 Mboze and it dropped a 3600-damage Uproot. Any less than 50% DT is a guaranteed dirt nap.

Finally got a low battery warning on my one-time password token. Same one I've had since they first introduced them on XI. RIP little buddy, you've served me well. ;~;7

Pepsi literally needs food to accompany it to taste any sorta good. Even the best pepsi, Wild Cherry, needs something savory to accompany it, otherwise I ain't even getting half way through the can.

Not for a true Pepsi addict. I don't think taste had anything to do with it. That said, I could identify the bottle Pepsi was served from by taste. In retrospect that's appalling.
