I left XI in 2011 or 12. I still hang out and post here.

I miss the job/subjob system. I do not miss the gearswap macros. I do miss support jobs. I <3 XIV's crafting but find the combat there lacking compaired to XI's combat.

It really is OK to hang out and post here, no one will fault you.

If you add ashenbub textures pack the game looks kinda like a HD Windwaker game. And you can also add xiv UI to the game so there you go.

Wow, would you look at that? We made it. Just happened to line up with the end of their character intros too, what a coincidence!


And as expected, the "secret" reward for 1.7mil is *** all.

Comes out to around 4.5k each. It's 3k for a 10x pull. Every little helps, but hardly a big deal.

It won't be 4.5k each. If you read the fine print it says itll be based on the number of downloads in the first 3 days. Could well be much less than 4.5k and it says the minimum will go as low as 1500

September 14 is mortal kombat 1, I'm hyped for it.
But I'll need to import it since it's banned in japan. :(

Quite unusual productive morning in game.

I guess, not aiming too high, can still net overall medium, better than successives lows.

Friendship ended with Armored Core 6. Now Custom Mech Wars is my best friend.

EDF devs, so it'll be a lot of fun, but probably pretty janky. I'm gonna spend way too long making crazy ***and having no time to actually play with any of it.
Now I just need Bamco to announce Gundam Breaker 4 (with the original devs) at TGS and I can die happy. (y'w')y

The day was quite productive at work too, so it was a good day overall.

Only problem is that we are having an important company application unavailable because of physical hardware failure.

We just ended our turn, and application is still off.

Have been playing thru oracle of ages on the virtual console and man what a good *** game. These two are in my top 3 as a set for best zeldas ever.

Well, not long ago I decided to "climb" all zeldas from 1 to switch ones.

I remember that exactly ages was too painful to me, what burned the ***out of me.

When i concluded ages, i had finished all portable zelda games and i was at occarina of time, when i simply gave up before finishing the second dungeon.

Season was fine, but ages seemed too tiresome some trips, needing to change stages just to reeach a location. That last city i think i needed to change 2 times age just to get there.

Also, i got stucked in the whale dungeon for so long that i had to resort to walkthrough just to know wtf was going on (was kinda simply think i never noticed the floor with other color was there so I could change floor, I thought i was trapped in the first floor)

funny though i really enjoyed Zelda II.

Maybe if they had some more refinement in some aspects. Too hostile games like the mindset of that time. Needing to restart from the very begining if you wipe.

I had to resort to guide in the last dungeon because, damn... having to travel all the world for another attempt would be terrible.

The new Tifa/Aerith/Zack costumes look great.
Can't see enough of Red's to tell, but it looks similar to his gimp suit from the exchange ticket so it's kinda whatever.
Young Sephiroth is cute! Wonder how long they're gonna keep us waiting to make him playable.

I like ages more personally but I like Zelda puzzles. Ages was the puzzle oriented one while seasons was more action oriented.

Quested for Tachi-Kasha, killed the NM, went back to Norg.
As I approached the quest NPC, alarms started sounding in my head.
....yup, forgot to click on the ??? after defeating the NM.
Ah, some things never change. The classic FFXI experience!

WooHoo It's One Piece day!

Now that we talked about Zelda, reminds the very first one i played, the awakening.

Looking back the story, i still remember how this impacted me more than i would expect from a game that seemed minor in the big pic.

The game had that unsettling atmosphere from NPCs. They knew more about what was going on than player/link.

We were only smashing things that people told us to smash. But, we were playing the big baddie in this story. We were there to simply wipe out all that reality by waking the wind fish.

After we grow up, i can sympathize with this thematic more as an old guy. Living their lives in a dream, or notice youre just an ephemeral part of it. You must wake up, even if this mean your existence being erased forever.

But last question, was Marin the wind fish?
