I made a new display for my 1/12th scale movie figures. I find it crazy they are almost the same price as 1/6th scale.. It shouldn't make sense considering the amount of PVC or whatever thats used is way less. I like them but as I move into 1/6th scale further I'll probably retire them sometime.

Ummm afaik they banned chatGPT, not AI technology as a whole, due to privacy concerns. Since ANY sensitive info that you feed to chatGPT may be seen by OpenAI employees or even another user (if I understand how chatGPT input/output works correctly). This is a very legit concern for companies like hardware/semiconductor companies like Samsung. if their top secret technology is being stolen by their competitors, the damage will be huge.

Also for company at Samsung's size, they totally would have enough resources to develop their own AI for their production needs, without needing to risk data leak to another party. I bet they already do, anyways. Afaik Semiconductor and manufacturing industry has been utilizing algorithm and ai automation for years if not decades, if Samsung lags behind it would have been gone years ago.

So I wouldn't use "banning chatGPT" as the only deciding factor on whether to invest in them or not.

The amount of PVC is the least costly part of a figure.

I did it. I beat Provenance Watcher solo with Trusts as a Job pointless WAR/drk spamming Resolution with a MacBain. Awwww yeahhhhhh!

I used:

Zeid II
Matsui P
Ulmia
Koru-Moru
Apururu

Zeid II and Matsui P have good stunner "synergy" because Matsui-P likes to debuff with Ninjutsu and other spells, he often misses stunning until about 30~ or so seconds into a fight.

Zeid II picks up the slack there.

But Weapon Bash from me also staggered it, didn't see what color. Might be able to see on recording review later tonight.

Beyond that, with Marchx2, Haste 2, and Last Resort, I was auto attacking rapidly and critting a ton for 1600+ per auto attack. Resolutions were around 30~50k in damage. Lower than I wanted them to be, but all said, it was over in roughly 6ish Resolutions.

He never got a fetter out. Zeid and Matsui and the stagger kept him from ever getting a cast off in this short short fight.

Every time I gave it a shot the son of a *** would just spam spells way faster than zeid and adelheid could stop or they'd be midaction and miss it. Before matsui existed.

Or koru would get oneshot before hasting lol

My favorite part of the whole thing is I did more damage to myself with Souleater than Provenance Watcher did.

When I had all my atk buffs up I had 2692 atk.

I wish I'd had atk+ temp items hehe.

On video review, it seems like Weapon Bash proc'd white on Provenance Watcher pretty much right off the bat.

Is Trig required for Calc 1? Or can I just go right to calc 1 from College Algebra? (I don’t wanna waste time learning about triangles.)

I'd say it's like a musician who wants to play 19th century opera gigs still studies the Bach Brandenburg Concerti. No, that musician isn't gonna bust out the harpsichord mid-aria, but the conceptual knowledge used 300 years later is all built upon the prior iterations of that art form. Could you likely get through Calc I without a proper Trigonometry class? Probably. But Trig is also a helluva lot more than just fancy geometry.

Typically it's a pre-req, useless but required.

Unless of course you can test out.

From my calc 1 kessons like decade ago, you will be sure asked to derivate/integrare trigonometric functions.

But to be frank, i never had a class exclusively for trigonometrics.

Normally its taught with geometric, which in turn is an extension of linear algebra, which was the most mind blowing subject I ever had, with that many theorem of N-dimensional vectors

Today we have this new fangled invention called the internet. Colleges have been known to post course syllabuses (syllabusii?) and requirements on it.

Also trig isn't really about triangles, its just based on triangles.

Of all my advanced math the only one I have left is trig because I used it drafting patterns sewing.
