She's gonna get wet today. Measurements and first on-water testing of 'Patriot' following 9 days of 24 hour work. Time to see if she has a chance to even compete come this friday, or it was all for naught.

Well, since we will never know, it's speculative that Directx = Memes, both are posters who caused a lot of drama for the short time they were around, but ended up taking the same path outwards (getting called on constantly and then straight up deleting their accounts).

It's not abuse per-se, but it is annoying as hell, and odds are very good that they will be back.

I have sadly survived another year since my birth

Time is relative

And is subjected to diminish returns.

Just recently i did my 34th anniversary.

First white beard started to appear in 2020.

But getting older per se isnt what bothers me, or worries me.

Its getting older and not accomplishing things i want.

So many plans to 2020 got delayed. Good thing that year was a year entirely to reflection. 2021 slowly working as i hopes though.

While there is life, there is hope, i guess.

There's a helluva lot to still do, and they're down to hours now until their first race on Friday (Thursday in the US). But 'Patriot' is back in the water, and got up on foil yesterday.

Today will be filled with tons of testing and practice with the new foiling arms (updated design that was to be implemented during this week anyways, but now they've lost days of practice with them). The new foils center the mass, placing about 80% of it in a central bulb vs a more even distribution of weight (this is visible in the windward foil that is airborne in the picture above). This has reduced drag and increased speed, but at the cost of control and stability. So now its time to relearn to sail this unwieldy thing, and fast!

Star Trek Online letting players choose any lockbox/promo box ship as a reward for clearing 5 events starting late February. Shame they're still character unlocks rather than account unlocks, but still a pretty generous move compared to the usual ***I've come to expect from them.
Since I already got my #1 pick from a free promo box, I'm actually having a tough time debating what I'd get. :I
