My Aunt Sharon's lost her second husband.
My first uncle, Uncle Larry, taught me how to fish when I was about 4 years old. He died 3 and a half years later of total renal failure.
My second uncle, Uncle Jerry, I met a few times when visiting my aunt. She married him when I was about 16, so I never got super close to him, but he was good people. He was in his early 80s, had some health issues, and he got COVID real real bad. Went on a ventilator last week. Died two days ago.
I'd appreciate it if the hand of fate could let me get through a year or two without someone close to me dying. I sometimes feel as though every decade of my life is punctuated at the beginning, middle, and end by the death of my loved ones.
