Life is what you make it, if you're gonna spend 1/3 of your life in it... it better be damn comfy. Somethings you don't cheap out on, but 1500 is craycray.
(probably buy the $1500 chair before I paid $1500 for the RTX3090 for example)((unless you were gonna crypto mine from it IDK just rambling))

I have it, so far I'm kind of having issues with it. Its been giving me neck pains, I have no idea why. I emailed the company and they told me it could be the height adjustment or because I'm slouching or something. I didn't have the issue with a cheapy 200 one off Amazon that had the racer style seat.

Still trying to give it a chance but its a bit frustrating when you pay for a chair that is praised literally everywhere and it has issues like that. I don't have any back or butt pains from siting in it a while though, that was something my old chair gave me so I had to keep changing positions to be comfortable, this one is very comfortable in the position you're suppose to sit in. Still trying to work out why the neck pain though, unless its the no head rest thing.

I mean real talk, may or may not be your issue.

We carry all our stress in our neck/traps etc... and this may infact be the most stressful time in your life, may have some part of it.

Also, yeah, that thing has like 100 settings, you may just be out of alignment, as it were. (for 1500 god damn dollars it better damn sure have a system that automatically aligns to your body perfectly lol)

The 3090 has limited stock and is impossible to get your hands on, the chair doesn't. That said I could have bought both at the same time but I didn't have a need for a new chair until now.

Herman Miller pays for itself over time. I spend many hours a day in a chair so maintaining proper back health is important. I expect that I'll have to use that 12 year warranty at least once later on in its life cycle as well.

I could have gone with a Steelcase but you get what you pay for. The $500 less comes with compromises in ergonomics.






For your neck pain Draylo, I'm not a chiropractor but I can tell you that chair height relative to your resting position as well as softness/firmness of the seat can cause neck strain if it's too far out of alignment.

Oh I missed the last page where you bought it, nice. Did you get it yet? I'm sure its a setting that is off which is why I haven't returned it and I'm giving it a chance. I really like how it feels sitting in it but just need to figure out the neck thing.

Nah just ordered today, will probably get it after the surgery day (which is primarily what I bought it for)

In regards to this, I remember my brother telling me that Phantasy Star IV cost $100 when it came out. And that was 1993 dollars! hehe According to Google, that'd make it worth $180 now :)

Bought the FF7 polygon set from SE and got the full set including chaser. Dunno if I got lucky or its just like that even tho they say blind box.

I love it a little too much but I despise the boxes. It is such a headache trying to find space to save the boxes because if you plan to resell or move them, you'll need to keep the box or risk it breaking in a move or losing like 40% of resell value.

I should just rent a storage unit somewhere.

I already started it! The site's styles are all split up as the site got built piecemeal over time though, so first step is consolidating them. I've had essentially no time lately though, job transition at work, which should hopefully settle down in the next week or so.
