and enterprise is 29.00 a day to just say *** it and rent a car myself lol So I just went with lyft. Since I had a 25 dollar uber gift card, that would have been the cheaper route to use once but ah well.

Another wave of ps5s botted today

I have the first one, never did finish it (well, I did the main story, but there's more to do).

Even now have the switch one, guess I'll get this too, hopefully it will let you do multiplayer.

Sparks nerf killing the economy on small servers. I never abused it, but it was always nice to have if I needed some extra gil. Now no one is buying anything.

i swear they need to merge all the low pop servers, Quality >>> quantity

A unified AH across servers would solve all the problems related to Quality of Life on small servers without removing the opportunity for those who prefer a more quiet life. Ask most people who are on servers that are used to "/sea all" resulting in under 400 online at a time- their only complaint is the lack of a healthy AH and having to run to Asura/Bahamut for high end stuff. Other than that, most who are still on those small servers at this point are here because we chose it.

It won't happen due to the SE cash cow that is server transfer fees, though. That is complete free money for them, and after this many years of transferring to a large server to get stuff being "normal", they'd be foolish to waste time rewriting how the AH works and waste those man hours on something that we are tolerating.

Only reason we are tolerating it is because we have literally no other choice.

I would LOVE to move to a drama-free server and leave Asura alone, if it wasn't for AH and lack of events LSs on other servers.

Keep your *** mitts off Lakshmi. Anyone who's on a smaller server right now is there by choice.

Anyway, I think I'd side against a unified auction house in XI. It would make more sense in XIV, where there's already free traffic between worlds on a data center, but in XI, servers are bubbles, and if you aren't going to open them up completely, I don't think it makes sense to go through all the work of opening up just one aspect.

(A unified AH would involve some work on my part to adjust to, but it would make large parts of the site WAY simpler, so it'd be a wash in terms of how much hassle it would be for me.)

Actually, that wouldn't be much hassle at all, unless the AH internals are a complete disaster (which they probably are, but they'd have to be a catastrophe in very specific ways). In a lot of ways it would be more straightforward, the queries would be simpler for sure. There'd be more traffic to that box so it'd need beefier hardware, but no way it would require a box that's 16 times as beefy as the existing AH servers, so it'd probably be a net gain in terms of cost. I have to believe separate AHs is a choice at this point.

I read Rooks's post 3 times and all I get from it is that Asura should invade and assimilate Lakshmi.
