You wanna keep the "seat", just remove the "back" right? AFAIK the back can be unsecured from the trunk.

Yeah, that is kind of what i was thinking, depending on how level it is to the trunk. If it’s really uneven, I was thinking of removing the whole seat, bolting down some plywood to make it flush, then carpeting it for comfort/insulation... lol
