ok i got garlic, leeks, onion, green onion, ginger, bok choy, and some beef broth. i also got a decent size top sirloin. going to slice off some of the fatty pieces and brown them in a pot, then add butter, an onion chopped in half both centers face down, and last some leek to cook up a bit. i'll slowly add beef broth and use a wooden spoon to mix up that yummy goodness that forms at the bottom of the pan to start a stock. i'll leave the onions in and add green onion, a lil sesame oil, and some ginger. i'll let that simmer for like 500 hours, then strain it.
next i'll start some rice noodles i got and cook til softened a bit then strain and set to the side. then
then i'll slice up the sirloin super thin and put the stock to an almost boil. i'll throw in some baby bok choy and once it's cooked add the noodles, some fresh cut green onion, some chopped serrano and jalapeno cause of course, then turn down the heat and then run the thin sliced beef through the soup to cook it while nomming noodles.
