I find the idea of rescuing a princess sexist. Time to boycott Mario. So because she is female she can't be a kidnapped princess in need of rescue? How sexist of you to imply only a male could fill that role. Take your misogyny back to 1950 sir

Seriously. Can't a girl have a hostage fetish without some fat, sweaty Italian plumber who barely graduated high school trying to White knight her?

How is Social Justice Warrior: Order of the White Knights, not a vidyagaem yet? As long as it has a DLC guessing game called, “is it a transformer or a x-man?”

I really hate the term "white knight" in regard to internet bois rushing to defend their "princesses" because White Knights are awesome and "white knighting" is kinda meh.

Is this some sort of new LGBT slang thing?
I can't keep up. Nah, it's when people push to see how much of a video game they can skip and still beat it for charity. It's called speed running and it's art. Wouldn't really call it art. It's pretty much practice practice practice, with a prescribed route/method, usually with a dash of RNG. It's pretty impressive sometimes, and then other times it's like, "Oh hey, I used a glitch and skipped 82% of the game, including all of the most challenging bosses."
AGDQ is good though, cause money for charity. If you speed run original FFIII, you skip 99.99999999999999999999% of the game.
I prefer execution based speed runs over glitch fests. Like Maxylobes DMC1 run.
Fire Emblem speed runs are pretty cool as well. The RNG manipulation in the GBA games is pretty cool. Breaking the game with powerful units in the others is just entertaining.

Hidden talent annoying everyone. That is a great idea for an ability.
I think the game would also need clans or something to pick from...

Fire Emblem speed runs are pretty cool as well. The RNG manipulation in the GBA games is pretty cool. Breaking the game with powerful units in the others is just entertaining. Glitchless runs are fun to watch, though there is occasionally a moment where the runner says "I'm about to do a trick that - by speed running rules - isn't a glitch..." and it just seems like semantics. It's a glitch but they call it a trick or an exploit.

My cat waits for me to stop playing video games so we can go to sleep together. She'll even bite at me when I don't comply to her request... ever since I made it known to her that I do understand her she stopped cutting me the same slack she gives to other humans that don't understand animal communi cations ._.

lulz...
Quote: Because the fix entails severing kernel memory entirely from user processes, patched OSes could potentially see a massive performance hit of “five to 30 percent slowdown, depending on the task and processor model”:

THat situation is being sensationalized to an incredible degree. Performance for the average PC user will not change. Games, programs that the average consumer would be using, etc. won't be affected by something like this. You'll only start to see big problems if you're running high end commercial (probably proprietary for the most part) software. But of course, ignorant media outlets gonna parrot each other ad nauseum and cause a major panic.
Ryzen CPUs going to be sold out across the internet despite the fact that this sort of security flaw exists in any CPU architecture currently on the market, considering they're all built the same way at ground level for this particular issue. Great accidental PR for AMD though after their incredible series of anticonsumer *** and bad press in 2017.

Yeah, I'm just hoping it's not too prevalent on Xeons, that's all I care about. Sadly enough.

Since you use so many VMs you probably will feel a hit from it unfortunately.

This is a thread that I found on another website I post at. It can be really really interesting. I thought it deserved a place here.
Post your random thoughts for the day here, or anything else that intrigues you.
For starters, is it possible to give constructive critism to someone who doesn't have a neck? I totally just walked by a girl who didn't. Someone isn't getting a necklace for Valentines day!
And who decided black and white can't be colors? I want to say a racist. I really do.
