 Quote: Yoshiyuki Tomino attended the Romics anime and manga event in Rome, Italy on Saturday as a special guest for a screening of Tomino's Gundam: Reconguista in G television anime series. As part of a fan meeting for the screening, Tomino said that a new project for the franchise was in development. Animator Kazumi Nakatsu had reported on her Twitter account in November that the anime would play in theaters throughout Japan sometime this year. A theatrical film version of the Gundam: Reconguista in G television anime had not been announced previously. Nakatsu's Twitter post has since been deleted.
