Just found out my grandma's routine doctor visit ended with her being admitted immediately into the hospital..

No details right now, wife is trying to find out more.

Well, she got her room and tried calling, but it just rang. She's headed up there now to go find out what's going on.


Thanks, she's pretty much my mother, she took custody of me when I was less than 1, and she's raised me pretty much from birth. I don't even want to think about losing her, there's not a lot of people in my family that I care about (I dislike most of them, most of them are either career drunks or stuck up and their high horse is so high they pass out from lack of oxygen).

Still don't really know what's going on.. All I know is that she was having trouble breathing and that they sent her to the hospital because of it, she spent a couple hours in the ER, before she got taken to her room and they're going to be keeping her for a few days.

Project Runway was better when it was on Bravo!

It's kind of disturbing that the Novennial Dress/Coat comes with a thank-you letter from Archduke Kam'lanaut...especially after the majority of everyone had already kicked his butt several times over. :/ I guess everyone gets a second-chance in Vanadiel society. :p

Slip: It's going to happen sometime. I can't help but feel a bit cold. All my grandparents are deceased. Going to their funerals was very hard for me. It's a sorrowful situation, but nothing I say or do is going to bring you any comfort or do anything about it. That said, I hope you have good fortune and are brought some sort of news about it soon. Man I'm a downer ,_,;

I won't be going to another funeral, I just can't do it. I'd been to funerals before, but never for someone I cared about. Then came my brother..

I just can't do that again. And when I say can't, I don't mean just won't, I mean I can't. I can't take that all over again. It's hard enough losing someone..

That experience really changed the way I look at things too, I don't want a funeral, I don't want any of what I went through for anyone who actually cares enough to be 'bothered' by it.. I spent a lot of my life bringing pain to those I care about, and I just really don't want to do that anymore.

A memorial service would be okay, I guess, but not like anything of today's standards.. I want people gathered around carcass cooking over an open flame, getting drunk and telling the good stories.. Not crying over my casket. Something you'd expect to see about 1,000 years ago.

TMNT 1 is one of my favorite movies of all time.
