I am crazy excited for Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 2 though. It's easily been my favorite of the Marvel movies and adding Kurt Russell can only make it better.

Google Pixel vs. Galaxy S7. Other contenders?
iPhone is not an option. All the current Motorola options look meh. I've liked my Moto Droids but the current crop underwhelms. Discuss! I read s review once that pointed out that the great thing about Terminator's brand of time travel is that it's not illogical to ignore them.

Discuss! personally I'd love a windows phone over android but that likely greatly diminishes your mobile app pool If Blackberry made a solid, solid-keyboard device I'd consider it, but their phones at this point seem like they're just throwing ***together and putting a logo on it. samsung is a nice phone, good power on the S7, same as battery life, and nice accesories too, like that wireless charging dock.
pixel is pretty nice too, especially if you want a more purer version of the android OS. not too sure about it's battery life. I like the idea of the Pixel because it does seem fairly bare bones. But the Samsung seems to have more polish.
I want as little bloatware and invasive "helpful" apps as possible. The most recent Android update on my Turbo is pissing me off because it added a bunch of (okay, only like...two now) shortcuts that, try as I may, I can't figure out how to disable. But for a week or so it was like every damn time I touched the phone it wanted to talk to me, or have me ask it a question, or the flashlight or camera would turn on because I moved my hand while I was holding it. Who the *** WANTS that ***? I DEFINITELY don't want a near-mandatory "digital assistant." Upside to the S7: it's probably the only phone on the market that I have a chance of easily getting accessories/cases/etc. specifically for that isn't an iphone.
pixel has stock issues. better hope nothing goes wrong. verizon can't do warranty claims cause google fixes them so slow. even the insurance companies have 2-3 waits on replacements.
