I really, really don't get why Lightning. She wasn't a good character, she was just pushed down people's throats.
Serah I could understand; she had a likable personality, looked similar to Lightning but different and had a better story. Worse part imo was the massive room full of diagonal slopes that sometimes rotated while you were on them. The darkness on top of the weird angle really messed with my eyes. My eyes are actually tired after doing that ***. Though overall, the dungeon wasn't too bad. Fairly straightforward, and so so many items. Ended up getting at least 30 Oracle Ascension Coins. Probably more but I don't remember what I was at when I started. Took me about 4 hours to finish. Might go back again at some point to make sure I didn't miss any items. If I remember right the only thing of note is the Black Hood, everything else is just coins and recovery items. That said it is a lot of recovery items so it's nice.

Got the Black Hood and the Genji Gloves, as well as a Radiant Lance (already had 3 lol), a Blood Sword iirc (meh), a few accessories that I already had multiple of, a couple ones were new to me though (but ultimately useless), and like you said; a lot of coins and recovery items. Found myself using some recovery items just so I could pick the rest up. The Black Hood is so shitty imo for it to be the final reward. The auto-dodge from it is so slow to activate.
