Asking if a nation has corruption is like asking if a religion has corruption.
It doesn't mean a dirty or a democracy is corrupt, it means the essence of human beings is part of the system we put in place and as such the flaws Hunan beings share will always be present.
We cannot blame humanity for being human, but we can focus our energy on places and ideals which help others. No amount of corruption can ever erase that spirit of goodwill, that effort and gesture we can choose to share.
It has nothing at all to do with religion and drawing a connection to religion is absurd.
Laws that make stealing legal are not illegal in the USA.
Corruption is literally legal in the USA.
