why do they sell that? i mean... wtf. the commercials make it seem so nice and easy.
Nair? It's for legs! You're not supposed to use it on sensitive skin.. Although I'm still not sure what really separates them.. It can't just be constant contact because underwear is rubbing that area all day for pretty much all our lives, so why does it not burn on legs, but burns there.
The difference between crotch skin and leg skin is, as gross as it sounds, sweat and the sheer amount of hair. In the crotch and armpit areas there is so much "moisture" going on and so much hair covering the area that the skin doesn't get a chance to get enough air to dry out and toughen up so it is MUCH more sensitive then legs and/or arms and even faces. Nair is also bad for the scalp, on a lesser scale for people who dye their hair a lot, for the same reason.
Legs/arms/face skin is pretty much desensitized (even in people with ultra sensitive skin) to the sort of chemicals used in Nair, for women, that has a lot to do with the use shaving creams, moisturizing lotions, face wash, yadda yadda yadda...not entirely sure how Nair would work out on a MAN'S legs as most men I know don't use lotions or shave their legs or anything like that, but for some reason, nearly every man I know has tried Nair in their...uh...nether regions.
I had a cousin who used Nair on his head, he wanted his scalp to be ultra smooth...poor guy ended up with 3rd degree chemical burns and his head looked like a mockery of Freddy Kreugar(sp?) for a good month or so...he learned the hard way, that's for sure.
Anyway, the point is, if there's lots of hair and lots of sweat, Nair is a REALLY bad idea.
My buds in game are getting all saaaaad panda on me.
I'm sad panda too...*sniffle*
