Our system at work requires at least 8 characters, 1 capital, 1 symbol, 1 number, 2 letters, and can't be any of your last 5 used passwords.
And then I'm here bitching about how useless and hard that is to remember or come up with a new one every 60 days.
I somewhat explained to my manager about how useless these requirements are and her response was... "it makes it harder for someone to guess or to be hacked."
I'm like, sure it makes it harder to guess, but hacked.....no.
Then we proceeded to get into a big *** argument about things that she has no clue about. (She has trouble using Microsoft Word. Like can't even make a simple price sheet using columns.)
