SSDs have come down in price so much, I think i may end up getting a 500gb SSD when i do my build. I'm waiting a bit (well i'm forced to wait till my sister pays me back 1500$ lol) but I'm waiting for the new AMD lineup before i build my new rig. I thought about getting the new intel chips that are coming out in august but unless they are super HELP I AM TRAPPED IN 2006 PLEASE SEND A TIME MACHINE better than an i7 4790k I doubt i'll partake in that. mostly because the new chipsets only use DDR4 ram and I havee a feeling that shits going to be way too expensive for my liking lol.

AMD Fury is more or less = to 980ti, in some cases even surpassing it. Pretty impressive really, especially if AMD prices... "competitively".

I'm going to be looking for a new laptop here once my CC's are paid down etc.

I'm probably going to get a 15.6~" and since (unlike my 17") I doubt it will have space for two drives, probably utilize the mini pci-e for a ssd and the sata for like a 1/2tb 7200 rpm.

Aside from that, I need to do some shopping, still debating if I want to get a business grade model and a dock or no.

I'd like to eventually upgrade to an I7 like that when money allows, they are very very nice.

Also I didn't get the K series because I was already pushing my budget and just really couldn't go any further; I got the liquid cooling because it was offered for free on the build site I used. But the I5 will work just fine with most games I use so not a huge hit, and this cooler and MOBO make its super easy to upgrade if and when I want to.

Nice looking build there. I can personally say you won't regret that mobo, has tons of options and I'm already loving the BIOS setup and how easy it makes everything.

Only issue i've had with my MSI gaming mobo is that the third PCI slot is p much unusable unless you have a behemoth of a case or a low profile psu

Oh! Also be careful if you get an SSD. From what I've heard from my work, a large part of their drop in price is because of the recentish realization that they have a limited number of writes. So after rewriting data so many times they will just slow down like crazy. They are great for putting your OS on but I'd recommend a smallish SSD (128gb) to save money, paired with a hdd for your c drive. I suppose a bigger SSD couldn't hurt but it would be good to avoid using software that frequently writes new data. An example is my boss used one for W7 and FFXIV; XIV killed its speed over a years time.
