There are sudden rises and drops here too, probably not as often though (we don't have a Great Lake feeding our weather like you do, just the Gulf of Mexico, which really only affects us 6 months in a year).

But we do have sudden rises in temperature all the time. Keeps rising and rising and rising until 10 P.M.

Anywho.. You have STEAM and you have Torrents. There are plenty of things to do.

Hulu has lots of free stuff last I remember. Or if you're an amazon prime member they do too.
