Many years back, I had a big crush on my friend. She in her womanly perception knew about it, but generally shrugged it off and made nothing of it. I never further pursued it and over time she got married, had a kid, etc. but we remained pretty good and closeish friends and coincidentally became co-workers too.
Fast forwarding to the present, her closest best friend, who is also a friend of mine, albeit more distant, is a no *** kind of guy. And had essentially called her out on denying that she had reciprocated the feelings I had for her initially, but aside from (alleged) denial, also for treating me badly or outright mean. Which is odd because I'm 100% oblivious to any of this, and only having found out about this last night. So somehow, in all my ignorance, I'm the centerpiece of drama and a fissure between the relationship of two of my good friends.
As far as I'm concerned, it's business as usual... Whatevs.
