Here's something I don't get; when you sign a contract to gain, in this case, cellphone service. Upon signing this contract you pay a fee to enter into service as well as for a month of service. To reiterate; you are paying a month ahead. One month from then, if you have not paid your bill it is past due and is usually given anywhere from, in my limited experience, 48 hours to 3 days to either be paid or have payment arrangements made.
Why do I bring this up? My phone bill is due on the 16th, I started getting calls, starting at roughly 8 A.M. on Tuesday, March 3rd, continuing every two hours until I blocked the number and today I blocked a second number. Given that I paid my bill last month, they are harassing me over a bill that isn't due yet; over money I do not yet owe them and over a month of service that isn't even here yet. I'd call the company and threaten them for harassment if you're getting inundated with the calls, that might stop the calls pretty quick. Loans are deferred for some time, so I have a couple years to find more income, but at least for now I don't have to worry about my car dying on me. |
