Mythics don't require you do anything that hard really... except have a taste for masochism.
I'm more impressed by people that can solo things like level capped bcnms on odd job choices.
Edit: I'm not saying mythic owners didn't work hard for their mythics, just saying that the content for it is easy you just have to do lots of it. At least that's what I've read several times from other people here.
storytime cause i'm bored and i don't have enough people online to do skirmish....
My 1st mythic was a long hard grind, I had a salvage 1.0 static with 2 friends.
Every night we would do 1 assault, then 1 salvage zone.
They let me have the alex drops in exchange for me playing the support job role (sch) and letting them have all the armors first.
Pretty good deal for me right? Well we ran bhaflau remanants soooo much I wanted to die because back then those ramparts+NM spawn rate+drop rate was terrible - that zone *sucks* for alex. I remember sometimes I would get only like 10-20 alex a run.
We once went 3 weeks before that damn yellow spider nm decided to come out of the rampart and didnt even give us the drop we wanted.
Everything besides silversea remnants for that matter was pretty terrible for alex.
We went to some silly lengths to try for armor drops. For poroggo NMs I would sleep/bind them and i'd stand next to it and be sata bait for the thf, and then sleep it again immediately and we'd wait for the thf JAs to reset to try and get TH to 10+ before it ran out of hp and we killed it.
Making a mythic these days with salvage v2 soloing, dyna+vw+skirmish to make gil is not even remotely painful. This game feels super casual to me now.
