Okay, stripped my bike apart and cleaned everything up.
Replaced a couple of hoses (ripped out the desmog system while I was at it), took a knife and a file to the clutch lever housing, and buffed out a ton of scratches.
Good news, my bike is drive-able again. Bad news, the tank is still pretty banged up and probably needs to be replaced. At least I went down on my left side instead of my right... I would of been livid if I destroyed my new pipes like that. Talked to the insurance company and they said that if the tank needs to be replaced they'ed probably just total it (like I thought they would) and it would be easier to just not claim the accident if I can fix it myself. Rates would of gone up like $25 a month, so meh... not gonna claim it and have a salvage title on my bike.
My ankle is bruised and hurts a lot and my groin area is super sore. Doctor said I have "micro-fractures" on my ankle and a probably just strained the muscles in my groin when I went down. Told me to just take it easy for a while, *** didn't even give me pain meds.
Cost of my own stupidity? Too damned high.
