Sometimes people don't like being reliant on others for what is otherwise a single-player game. Hell people don't like being reliant on others a lot of times, just look in XI how many things people figured out how to solo over the years even if it took ages, they could do it themselves.

I have a question of opinion.

As most know, I look at cars on the internet pretty much constantly and two vehicles have been my focus lately, the 1991-1999 Lexus SC400 and the 1980-1985 AMC-Jeep CJ-7 "Laredo"

In looking at them, one might laugh at the CJ-7 and say that the Lexus is obviously more classier. But, for some odd reason I'd have to disagree. I don't know why but for some reason...

The Lexus is a beautiful car with all the bells & whistles one would expect but on the used car market, in most cases, the Jeep is much more expensive than the sleeker, more fuel efficient, and better equipped Lexus. Is this bias? Is it because I have a bit of a distaste for vehicles produced in the 90's or because many Lexus SC300's (which are a 6cyl variant of the SC400) are modified and I prefer them vanilla, or is it possibly a domestic vs import thing?

EDIT: It's also very possible it is an extinct manufacturer thing. AMC has been dead since the late 80's yet Jeep lives on under Chrysler. Willys, Studebaker, AMC, DeLorean, all of these strike me as interesting due to their near obscurity. I actually have a Willys.

Buick is a part of GM both of which are far from dead. If we were counting extinct divisions of existing manufacturers, I'd have added DeSoto.

Normally I would not bother replying that (I mean Panta's post) but the interesting point is that by having that "healing mule" in FFXI or playing a second trainer in Pokémon just to not need to interact with other people playing the game, you're kind of losing a bit of the experience/joy of playing the games in question as you're eliminating the social interaction aspect in them.

Anyway it seems like the Japanese players don't have that problem too hard on them (find people to play with) and considering these games are mostly made with them in mind (These games are made by Japanese companies with Japanese domestic public in mind mostly) I suppose that's how the things are.

I've started farming Lucky Eggs in my ORAS versions for quick leveling.

Also, gotta love that old and whispy looking Mega Evolved Alakazam.

Because asking if the Jeep is classy is akin to asking if wearing a cowboy outfit is classy.

When in doubt, ask: which goes better with a suit/tux? Or which looks worse with a gun rack.

Fairy-type with a Mega form that has Pixilate, Hyper Voice access, and the Shiny has one of the coolest Mega forms. Various reasons.

I'm actually going after a shiny Gardevoir just to rub it in Kojo's face that my shiny is better than his have for tournaments.

The CJ-7 was most commonly equipped with the AMC 258 I6 or the AMC 304 V8, some had the AMC "Iron Duke" I4, and some have AMC 360 V8 which are probably swaps. The Iron Duke is still in use in many mail trucks but I don't think a V6 has been in a CJ since the CJ-5's "Dauntless" which was bought from Buick and converted from the Buick 225 V6.

EDIT: My Willys has a Buick 225 in it, also, in a CJ-7, you probably have enough room to install a Cummins 4 cyl B-series turbo diesel which would get you in the mid to high 20's MPG/HW.
