Well I get 6-months same as cash on that card for purchases over like $150 or something, so it would amount to $60 a month. I would get a couple of years of enjoyment out of an update video card (and less headache from my current cards dying a slow death from OC'ing so high).
Just paid off my paypal credit card... debating on whether or not to toss another $350 on there and get a GTX 970.
I have some credit cards that need paid off, got like 7k?
Technically yes, but really no.
That money is earmarked for school tuition and emergencies. Just plopped down money for LASIK so really I shouldn't even be thinking about buying a new video card, but I really want one... and honestly the price to performance increase ratio isn't terrible over my 570's right now.
To break up this little pissing match, my wife's exact words were "Whatever, as long as ***gets paid" so I pushed the purchase button on newegg <.<;
humm that reminds me that I have to order a cord for my monitor :/ friend gave me his old one so I can do two now... he just didn't give me any connectors :(
I have so many cables of varying length, I'd be hard pressed to not find one when I needed it.
DVI<>hdmi adapters: check
vga<>dvi adapters: check
micro usb cables: out the wazoo
vga cables: too many
dvi cables: also too many
hdmi cables: too many
15 foot vga with 1/8th audio, check
toslink cables: check
usb otg cable: check
usb extension cables (could use a few more).
me and monoprice.com got a little happy on the days I had a lot of downtime at work..
I'd still only be about half of where I'm at in debt though even with all that spending, kept paying for ***for the child's mother as she can't hold a job at all, plus when I was inbetween work, cell phone, gas, etc.
I'll be getting a check in like 2 weeks though, that will make my current money woes less troublesome (I hope 2 weeks), but my long term is looking more and more dependent upon moving out of the area, something I really don't want to do, but I need some $ while I finish up college a bit at a time and well that's life.

why not Amazon?
about the same price and you'd get it much sooner (assuming prime).
I do have prime, but amazon doesn't accept Bill Me Later (PayPal Credit, whatever you wanna call it) and they also did not have any non-reference cards in stock.
I went with the EVGA ACX 2.0. Reading a little online a lot of people are bitching about the ACX 1.0/2.0 being cheap (and some coil whine). I've always had good experiences with EVGA cards, and have always OC'ed extremely well for me with little issue or heat problems.
MSI has always been a cluster *** of shitty problems for me. RMA's two different MSI 570's and a motherboard from MSI... so don't do them any more. Would of loved to try a Gigabyte or ASUS, but neither were in stock. Though recently I have been hearing that ASUS has a tendency to have some cheap stuff. So anyway, just went with what I knew and hoping for the best.
This is a thread that I found on another website I post at. It can be really really interesting. I thought it deserved a place here.
Post your random thoughts for the day here, or anything else that intrigues you.
For starters, is it possible to give constructive critism to someone who doesn't have a neck? I totally just walked by a girl who didn't. Someone isn't getting a necklace for Valentines day!
And who decided black and white can't be colors? I want to say a racist. I really do.
