Saw an Orthotic specialist the other day, and learned a few things:
1. My right leg has a 1 1/2 inch shift difference from my left,
2. There's a hollow point where there should be muscle for proper leg support in my lower right back due to the shift,
3. I need a 2 inch support under the insoles of my footwear to help correct it,
4. My doctor is an idiot, and should have covered all of this (as a concern) when I injured my back 9 years ago, because that was when the shift happened.
Edit: The custom orthotics I need will end up costing $400-500 for a fully integrated custom alignment, I just need to make sure I'm covered under my Alberta Works benefits.
