"Install the new printing software on all 52 computers!" They tell me.
"Make sure to delete the old printer software!" They say.
And now they realize the new software doesn't work... this is gonna be a fun day.
Don't you have a software packaging/deployment strategy/solution?
Well... we are going to deploy an actual image in a month for all the computers... this is a temporary thing for now until summer semester is over.
Our actual issue lies within the server of the software we are using (ie, their fault not ours blah blah) so... uh... >.> I don't really know what's going on anymore. Time to wait for the guy who said "yup yup it all works now" to have a heart attack when he gets in.
Back to my staring contest with the fire alarm.
EDIT: Short answer to your question: apparently not.
