she mentioned how expensive computers were in Japan and at that time, the conversion was around $1,200US.

Oh my dumb *** took a nap, as I only had 2.5 hours of sleep last night, so now I'm pretty awake, but almost tired enough to go to bed, unlike yesterday I haven't had any caffeine today, I'm honestly surprised I haven't had a massive headache.

I'm debating on taking the ps3 to the bedroom to play FFX or to just play it here for like an hour, or just go see if I can go to bed.

What some real hardcore recycling looks like:

This is also the same place that was in the news awhile ago too. The owner Tom is the guy I usually deal with.

Quote:
"The local police used to come maybe once a month, but now it's three or four times a month, looking for stolen copper," said Tom Buechel, owner of Rockaway Recycling, a scrap metal outlet in Rockaway, N.J.

Well think about it this way. They pay per pound. Got a scale, digital even better. Weigh your stuff out. Depending on the size of a motherboard, it's about 1-3 pounds.

Unless you have at least 6 or more computers it's always worth it to scrap them down to the bones.

Then go from there with the prices per pound at the place closest to you.

A lot of electric motors, which are like $.30/lb are better if you crack them open on some cement so you get the bare copper prices of around $2.50-$2.75/lb.

I pop off the transformers and leave the rest usually. For those you want to make sure you have a lot too, otherwise you can leave them on.

Although right now I'm saving up the gold, gold fingers, and gold connectors. They pay a lot more per pound, but you need a lot.

Sample Image of gold fingers.

Depending on CPUs, you might to take them off as well. Heatsinks too.

Old pentium pros are like $15 a piece, 1 gram of gold can be extracted from them.

The P4s with the gold connecter pins you might want to save up too.
