Also, CNT, if you do get a dog, you could consider going this route. I've gotten two dogs through the rescue, and both were some of the kindest, gentlest, most obedient animals I've come across.

oh yeah definitly, I always get work emails about shelter pets looking for homes... if I wasn't where I am right now I no doubt would have probably taken one of them already.
