I get the idea behind it, but IDC is our hardest hitting combo (180 -> 220 -> 500) so I'm more keen on maximizing its damage whenever I can.
Yes, but look at how you're using your total potency in the same span of time. 900 + 680. Assuming the mob doesn't bork you and ruin your Impulse Drive.
Maybe I was the idiot, I dunno. The healer was up on the hill on the wall, and of course she aggroed the bees due to her cure bombs. So, while I'm AoEing the lot of them, they ignore me and climb the hill. About that time, I'd get Doom cast on me, but I still had to get to the damn bees. So, I'd try to climb the hill thing (which entailed of a lot of jumping and flailing and jumping some more) and by the time I'd finally get the bees off the healer, Doom went down to zero and I died. So, maybe it was my fault. Or maybe I should do a ranged attacker instead of my MNK.
You're not refreshing HT before your second TVF. Damage buffs are multiplicative. Not to mention, the sooner B4B is used, the sooner it can be used again.
My opening potency total in the same number of GCDs as yours...
170 + 269 + 328 + 822 + 526 + 246 + 328 + 542
279 + 189 + 253 (+ 417 + 404 + 189 + 253 + 417)
Potency Total = 3952 (bracketed is the rest of my rotations numbers)
If your GCD is low enough to squeeze out 9 abilities, your rotation wins. But Jumps (which should be used, no questions asked) probably take up just enough time to make that impossible.
Prioritize the removal of Doom, then focus the adds. If your healer pulled agro, they really need to get off their ledge because it's a pain to follow the bees up there. A lot of variables could've happened, meh.

I think you should check you addition there. Uhm, my opening came out to 3555, yours 3410. Unless you did something extra?
