»It's not the best ISP, but better than anything else I have access to :| it's either TimeWarner, AT&T, or a handful of shitty DSL providers in my area. 40mbit(5MB)/s down 5(<1MB)mbit/s up is about as good as it gets here, and that's with a very uncommon internet package (Power package, which requires you to have two lines running from your house and a specifically built infrastructure in your area) :\. Sucks balls, can't stream or anything because of the ridiculously low upload speeds. can't wait for gigabit internet to spread around.
I know those feels on uploads. My upload at home is like 800-900kbit or so.. Forget the actual numbers since I never deal with uploading anything major.
Sucks that both TimeWarner and AT&T throttle certain services. Like some of the ones that Twitch uses.
Up until roughly a year or two ago, the fastest you could get in my area was 756kbit downstream.
