I found a long maintenance on ffxiv. Rage to follow.

So here i was
 kicking back, relaxing. Suddenly i remember i have things to do before maintenance! So i head to north shroud, start filling in the map looking for ixal to finish up a hunting log. Then i see this guy!  who subsequently owns my face and every level 50 nearby with 1 move  Seriously tho, I sat back and watched as level 50 Paladins where getting 2-3 shotted. Saw some people taking over 9k damage in a single hit. Was hilarious watching people get beat like that.

He drops Odin's Mantle. Silver gives you 1, Gold gives you 5. You trade 5 for an item, either his helmet, body or barding.
depends on rank. silver gets one mantle. <need 5 for an item>
gold gets a achivment and 4 or 5 i think mantles? also the exp/gil/seals ah, so its only the level 50 fates that give you stuff like that?
