I pre-ordered Dead or Alive 5 CE for 360 3 months before it came out at gamestop.
go to pick it up at release day, get told they dont have it.
:| after arguing and trying to get my CE from.. anywhere, no one had/carried it and was sold out. ended up taking the ps3 version, but i did weasel them some extra free pre-order dlc

Pro-ordering isn't only for guaranteeing you have a copy at release but it also lets companies guage interest in the game, forecast sales and leads into developing sequals or a similar product...

I'm a bit annoyed about the legacy intro (and not all legacy people get it either) because it makes it confusing story-wise. I met Papalymo, Yda, Minfilia and Y'shtola before but they act like they never met me before. My friend gets kinda recognized by them, they say "you remind me of someone" with some slightly different dialogue. Why couldn't they give that to 1.0 characters as well?
Having the same cutscene and tutorial as a freshly made character when you're a level 50 with a bunch of 1.0 story done just feels weird. No, I didn't play near the end because I got bored and didn't pay in time for legacy but I still paid and did all the story that was available at the time. Don't care about the legacy items, just think it makes little sense story-wise.
