Maybe you guys can help. I'm trying to figure out what kind of haircut I should get before I start my student teaching. I've been using this as a guide. What do you guys think would go with a chubby face and a beard?

I faced this problem for quite a while. I rarely style my hair with product. last time I did it was something like a faux hawk. Mainly cause it's easy and I'm lazy. Also if you cut it like that and you don't use product you can just let it fall or use a light amount of product for a messy look.

I wish I could wear a hat. Until I get a job, it's business attire. Of course, if I could ever get tenure, I'm growing everything out to the point where I'll make Billy Gibbons look trim.

I hear ya, man. I guess I just never really considered using it, myself. This is a concept I originally took on when the faux hawk was first introduced. If it works for ya, then that's groovypants.

I use a paste.
I'm cheap and lazy and just use some axe paste. It's the only paste that gives a dry look and manages to hold my hair.

I think I have some of that. Well, it's more like texturising paste, but it works the same way.
