Random Thoughts.....What Are You Thinking?

I watch most of my movies on my tv,so I'll grab the 1080p versions for that. Unless of course it's an older or abstract movie that doesnt have a 1080p easily available.

I wont get the uncoded remuxes though,*** downloading 23gb for one movie

Since my monitor is a 19" I don't mind 720ps but if I watched on my TV (42") I'd definitely get the full HD

I don't even like 4 gb for a movie lol, feels overkill to me

This movie was 13gb,took me 20 mins to download so I dont mind. I've got loads of space and tons of external HDDs to boot.

edit: This was also the lowest size 1080p of this movie,there was 6 available,most were 16-18gb,2 over 20,and this was 13

I'm happy if I find a 720p, if I can get the 1080 one I will though.

I should also add how lazy I am. I tend to redownload movies instead of looking through my 9 externals for,so I have a few duplicates xD

If I have a choice between 1 GB, 4 GB, 8 GB and 10 GB I'll always choose 1 lol. The quality difference isn't that big >_> If it's an anime then you know it's just because they use annoying flac audio or something just to make the file size bigger (just because they can)

For me,I've got a good surround sound system to go with my tv,so I dont mind it for that part. If I look at the encoding notes though and see it's basically ***for the filesize/increase,then *** that.

lol... this is why you don't buy ***you don't really need.

I have 1 external, it get's continuously checked and old files off of it.

Organization helps too.

I watch with a headset so it's not really noticeable for me. I could do surround on the TV but I don't wanna bother the neighbors so I just use my headset and that way I can have it as loud as I want >.>

Just had an interesting conversation with someone. If XI were to disappear tomorrow,what do you think would happen to FFXIAH (not XIVpro) and the many posters that actually still play the game and rarely post in non-game threads?

i dont use the OF,but it's part of the FFXI machine so i included it. I should say the XI side of the OF now i think of it though.

FFXIV Beta Tester forums are worse, I saw a guy suggest implementing skateboards and you often see "when FFXIV goes F2P". You also see a lot of "The one thing holding FFXIV back." which is different every time.

Bioshock was ... good but ... just felt so different to me lol.

Have not played The last of us yet, I heard it was good, but short, and that the ending is ... well ... not.

Cant be worse than bioshock infinite's ending. Worst ending ever

I wasn't going to buy it because I don't do zombie games but I was told it was really really good and blahblahblah

and I switched to nightshift in the middle of the week after a day on dayshift and I needed something to keep me up all night long.

I'm not done yet but I think the voice acting is great and the relationship between Joel and Ellie is heartbreakingly wonderful.

but I don't do fungus/zombies hiding around corners..I have died a bajillion times because I'm impatient and just want to hacknslash my way through (I hacknslashed my way through dishonored and Assassins Creed too). It took me an eternity to learn the controls (you don't have to hold down the up button with r1 to heal yourself, this stupid game lies)..I put the game on easy mode so I can have autotarget.

Also like all these modern GOTY actiony games are ridiculously short. This is going to be another one of those 8 hours and you're done...heres some online coop shiznit that I wont touch at all.
