I still haven't got to test the chocobo thing yet (the party fighting thing ...) think there is 1 more phase 3 weekend, i'm sticking to my legacy char and just working on him.

Well, you see, I've been thinking of stuff to try in FFXIV, and I can't access it atm. Secondly in playing FFXIV, I feel like I'm abandoning XI and my friends there, but I really like FFXIV. When I get depressed, I get emotional and sensitive and take things the wrong way, last night I thought Spath and Kali had snapped at me, and after my head has cleared up, I don't think it was meant the way I took it, but I ended up telling depressing stories and getting cranky last night. So if I said anything hurtful, I apologize. I just needed to calm down, so I logged off in a hurry...

TL;DR I'm paranoid.

I think you need to progress through the main story for Chocobo now and not through your Grand Company. I might be wrong though
