This is super sad here. My net on my phone only works half the time so getting updates through family. :( a lot of fatalities. Makes me so sad.
Dads landlord told him he refuses to go half on a storm shelter. I tell him be either needs to put one in himself or find a new home. So stupid that home owners just don't care here.

Rescuers being asked to gather at the Theatre, not sure WHY exactly, and Az, that's bull. The home owner would gain from putting one in himself, let alone going in half, it increases a house's value.
Especially after this, people looking for houses will really be attracted by a shelter, we get a bunch of requests to install (we do concrete) but we just don't really do shelters, not sure why.

I thought all that junk was on purpose? I liked the second one, but I think more so just because I like sci-fi action movies.
I think the young Kirk (Don't know his name) lacks all the suave charisma that Shatner has. You can chalk it up to him being the younger version, but meh, they seem to make him a little too reckless, IMO.

I was always grateful I didn't have to take foreign language in college... I dont think I would have done well!! But then the other part of me wishes I wouldn't have forgotten all three years that I learned Spanish in High School..

Went up there earlier to help but it's just chaotic and was given info for the morning for clean up and helping. I can't stand reading any more about it tonight, too much death and disaster and it's making me sick. It could've easily been my family or even just 10 miles difference, my own home so I'm all sad and about to just get some sleep haha. OU's gotten together a group so far of 300 students or more to meet up for Red cross volunteering orientation in the morning. The university opened up their housing and everything to those without homes so I'm looking into volunteering up here too.
