I hate portable gaming systems but I do love Fire Emblem games so I might cave in and buy a 3DS. Also its not just Fire Emblem but Etrian Odyssey IV interests me as well. I said would never buy a portable gaming system but might have to break the rule.

One last question does it have a hard difficulty setting 5 stars merciless like Shadow Dragon? Loved the difficulty of the game on 5 stars.

Its settled I'm going to buy a 3DS just for Fire Emblem and Etrian Odyssey. Doesn't take long to speed run through a game on normal mode being so easy.
There's even an easy mode,as well as "noob mode" where if someone dies,they come back
Thought normal was already too easy. Especially crafting some iron weapon early on makes the game stupidly easy.

Time served if they went to all that trouble. Circumstances still far too vague though.
