Random Thoughts.....What Are You Thinking?

I have 4 aunts and 3 uncles on my mother's side, all who have been married to their husbands/wives for the last 20 years...(seriously every one of them got married in the same year...WORST wedding year EVER (I was 10 for crying out loud!)

Anyway...

only ONE of those 7 couples is not filing for a divorce (so far) this year...5 of them filed in this month alone...

seriously???? WTF is the deal?

They aren't even the only people I have known who have been married for a pretty long time and have just up and decided to get divorced after their kids were either out of the house or almost out of the house...

I don;t understand...yeah the married life is hard, especially when there are kids involved, but, IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE! Hell, when the kids move out is when the, "golden years" start up...it's supposed to be hard work to get to the good years and then the good years start and then the kids have babies and those years are even BETTER!...seriously why is this happening? it doesn't make a lick of sense to me :(

I just don't get it.

Anyway, those are my random thoughts during tonight's typical bout of insomnia >.<

Watching that movie Kalifornia for the first time.
Uncomfortable would be an understatement to say the least >.>

I have no idea what that movie is but if you're uncomfortable watching it then I'm not entirely sure I WANT to know what it is...

Basically this writer and his photographer girlfriend go on road trip to write a book covering infamous serial killer cases around the US and ride along with what turns out to be a homicidal maniac and his spouse. It's very well done, which is probably why it makes me feel uncomfortable as hell in the first place.
Just means the movie is doing it's job, very well.

hmmm...sounds like something my husband would like to watch...I'm not very good at sitting through scary or uncomfortable movies like the one you just described...

Though, if you PM me when it's over (I'm going to bed like right now I think) and tell me if it ended well, I may make an attempt at sitting through it WITH Felos...at least then, if I get too uncomfortable, I can close my eyes and grab his hand and tell him to tell me when the weird/crazy ***is over...lol

Have you ever seen a movie where an actor plays their role almost too well? To the point where it's downright scary and uncomfortable? This movie defines that for Brad Pitt lol.

Halo 3 (friend is gonna let me borrow 1+2 disks, and I can just dl them lol)
Gears of War 1 (Maybe even 2)

and maybe Fable 2.

If you still like old school and LONG RPGs, Lost Odyssey is a pretty rad game.
Bleh, can't think of any other XBawks exclusives off the top of my head.

oooh shiiiii forgot about that game, I got it before I sold my 360 the first time.

I thought that Keaton did a really awesome Bruce Wayne. With how the movie was focused and how he portrayed him though, it really seemed more like I was watching Bruce Wayne the whole time.
