Very happy with how these series are going! I can be quite the book purist, but even with the second season not being as true to the books I believe it's done amazingly.
Can't wait for next season! Almost every episode should have that "season finale" quality to it looking at the events that will happen. Though I did hear that they are going to do clash of kings in two parts.
They're finally going to start touching on one of the biggest mysteries of the series next season too. I want to know more about Howland Reed. I hope they'll show more of him in the series than in the books. :)

I've read them all and keep checking his blog...but sadly he seems to be taking more on (ie his general writing deal with HBO for future content) and doesnt seem too close. I'm all for him taking his time if the end result is worth the wait. For now, the series will suffice. They've done a bang up job so far. He's a big boy and I hope he doesnt die from obesity or something before he releases books 6 and 7.

Last week's episode didn't pop nearly as much as the previous two (esp last week's "And Now His Watch has Ended" finale), but it was still a solid continuation to a flurry of great moments we are currently in the thick of. I'm still sad that Strong Belwas isn't in the show.

People have been complaining about the Theon torture seasons, and I'm like, why? They are incredibly tame, everything is either implied or offscreen, or just nothing. Its a premium channel, more blood please. 1 episode of Spartacus should desensitize anyone that is squirmy.

I heard from some friends who haven't read the books that they're upset about the Theon torture scenes because it's been going on almost the entire season and it's the same thing. They thought they should cut some of the Theon scenes and added in more Arya scenes or something that furthers some of the plot lines. Can't believe season's almost over already. Arya is gonna be like 30 next season they way its going.
If you only read the books you will miss all the ***. crap cant embed it. watch Gay of Thrones on yotube. its lulzy
