I'd go for Cavaros' since WAR is already stuffed with DA and 20 Attack won't make as much as a straight damage increase to the Crit Hit Damage.

The ravager's calligae +2 alone grant a +10% increase to Crit damage, so stacking up some more, imo, will give you the better result on average.

Technically stacking more and more +crit dmg would have decreasing returns. Plus you almost capped with RR and that feet

I'd say Atheling by a long shot really. Cavaros is only 3% crit dmg and assuming you do have af3+2 feet, with the 2nd lvl of crit increase at 90 you won't even get the full benefit of cavaros.

I didn't know WAR got the T2 Critical Attack Bonus trait at 90.

In Abyssea at least though, I would rather Triple Attack through Atmas than Double Attack through gear, so wouldnt this leave us with Cavaros mantle as better choice?

I don't see how maxing the crit dmg bonus over RR Atma and AF3 feet would prove detrimental though.

Well, the word still seems to be out on whether TA or DA have priority so will have to wait on some conclusive results on that. Cavaros just doesn't seem like it's doing much at all, sure atk might not do you that good but unless you're always running with cor, eating red curry, and have berserk up, you're really probably not capping attack on everything you fight. If you're trying to actively avoid DA I'd still probably rather use cerb/forager/ame+1 than cavaros.

Even if war didn't get a 2nd crit dmg bonus trait with af3 legs and RR up Cavaros Mantle would only be increasing the dmg of your crits by 2%. Chances are unless you are constantly high enough on attack to cap Cratio chances are 20 att will do more

Even if the attack wasn't doing much the DA will, Atheling is best TP/WS back now.

Info on War getting the second crit attack bonus? I've seen no info on it anywhere.

It's not on the JP wiki either but gobli has lots of random little gems of info in the comments section.

Went out and tested myself using a long boomerang (D18+10x2 FSTR)=38

(on bees/mandies, unfortunately I was in saruta)
Regular hits = 142
Crits w/ nothing = 191
Crits w/ af3+2 feet = 208

(Floored at every step as usual)
38*3*1.25=142
38*3.75*1.08*1.25=191
38*3.75*1.18*1.25=208
