on point here... OP, blade hi's primary mod (and its only mod for that matter) is agi.. so loki's body is always good... your build that is on your page when clicked on isn't bad at all to start....

still stick with qirmiz tathlum for ammo, as far as neck goes... I think nin can use the articer's torque (that agi+6 racc+ thing), brutal should still always be 1 earring you use.. 2nd earring could be a drone i guess, or aesir ear pendant, ocelot's gloves are fine, agi+7 rings if you can manage to get some (or still WS in epona's for 1 ring if you have that), crudelis belt isn't half bad for the waist slot..its been mathed out to be fairly close to the elemental belt for hi.. back armor, go with cavaros mantle for the +crit dmg.. only thing I can't really think of is a good leg/feet slot.. sorry mate.. hope the other suggestions helped

Seiryu's Kote and Hachiryu Sune-ate seem to be a given?

Ambusher's Hose maybe? Iga tekko+2/Seiryu's kote depending on what you got seem good to me.

Iga legs for katana skill maybe ? or byakko's for extra Acc/crit ? unless there's a nice AGI pants like ambusher's.

Lithe boots in case you can't find or afford Hachiryu.

For the head slot, Would 8 AGI beat Viking helm?

Depends on hitrate and whether fSTR and/or pDIF are capped.

In response to a previous post, wouldn't Shadow Gorget be better than Articer's Torque?

i was actually thinking about what to use for blade:hi myself,



this is prob what I'm going to be using once i get the Katana, there's an Agi+5 back and Agi+6 neck and Agi+5 waist so another +10~12 agi i could get on the set, which I'll prob aim for inside Abyssea. this could be my outside Abyssea macro lol.

What are you guys off handing? I did trial weapons for store TP, evasion and Dex/Acc while I was doing my Kanagi. Finished it tonight and now I don't know if I should use them anymore or just use my Kamome?

btw, any threads comparing ws damage with different sets yet?

Lithe because I don't have Hachiryu. Also don't have a lot of gil. (ie: Breeze Rings)

This set is what i am aiming at, i am 2/3 through my trial what kind of numbers you pulling off?

Oh' The sekka+2 I have is +9 Agi and + 20 Eva one: Anwig Aug = 4Agi+2% Damage & 4Dex + Inc. Crit. Damage.

Wouldnt Kamome be better to offhand and main hand kannagi?
I do like the idea of anwig, I will have to work on that. I also recently bought hachiryu sun-ate!!! i cant wait :D

The Item set thing wont let you main kannagi for some reason unless you use lower lv katana, but as far as for WS the Sekki with Agi is better not only for WS but also eva

+9 AGI beats a faster katana with 5% crit dmg that helps WS AND regular swings?? come on..

Depending on the augments you get on Anwig, it'll be useless. You can cap Crit Hit Rate so easily with Atmas now.

Just thought it was worth mentioning, item set will let you main Kannagi. Just need to type in sub weapon first.

I <3 trolls like Buddhsie (*^.^*)...does not even have nin 90 or decent gear at that, and probably has no idea how to even figure WS damage formula's
