Just reading over the wiki page for Kulkulcan and I was wondering whether "Blind" would work on him to stop Oppressive Gaze from hitting?
Going to try and get this done with a couple of friends and wondered whether we could use Blind to keep our tank alive XD

We just use 2 tanks, have all your mages turn facing away from the wall, have your tanks stand on either side, and just kill? But we use DD tanks, so... Idk, didn't think Kuku was hard.
The guy that we have tanking things atm only has MNK and BLU. I know BLU can easily tank without engaging (or at least used to), but I'm not too sure how good he is tanking on BLU, whenever I've seen him tank on BLU he gets his face raped XD
The jobs we have available are: BLU MNK (Maybe WAR, was 75 but he got into a PT with it yesterday) RDM BLM NIN THF BLM WAR RNG PLD WHM BLM SMN WAR (BRD75 that could go up aswell) I was thinking MNK RDM BLM WHM or MNK NIN/THF RDM/BLM WHM MNK NIN WHM RDM, assuming good atmas on the melees (GH/RR/VV) it'll be a complete joke.

Blind does indeed stop petrify on normal peiste though. Thanks for the tips guys ^^ Hopefully I'll have this done within the next couple of days!

How few people do you think it's possible to nuke it down with? Would RDM + BLM work? If you go with a NIN 90, with GH RR VV, it basically can't hit you, and your JIN will take 5% of its HP off.
You can easily duo it with NIN + WHM, and should oppressive gaze go off (it shouldn't really, you've plenty of time to turn), the whm can sacrifice, but even if it does go off and you've no whm, and you go NIN + RDM, it's not a threat because it CANNOT hit you with a medium eva setup on NIN. Would RDM + BLM work? i don't really seeing it happening. besides, i've never been able to land blind on kukulkan, with all over enfeebles landing with ease, and the only thing i'm missing is duelist's chapeau. pretty sure it's immune to it to begin with.

I can't remember the conflux # but I'll ask my friend. Haven't played in months.
Kvazz, Kaeoni says the pin spot was at #5. I've personally seen him use it and it was a pretty nice pin. I can't exactly describe it as I haven't seen it used in months (don't play anymore.) Just pull a regular mob there and play with it for a few minutes and you'll probably figure it out. Good luck.
