BLMs(who have Retrace) and shout for retrace in WG/Jeuno.

With that in mind, people who shout for retrace. . .It's uuber freaking easy to get to. Get to WG, warp to home nation, run outside, use the Maw, and then BAM! You're there. Not much walking because all those spots it warps you are very close to the next warp. What ~10-15min is time you can't waste?

I mean you're either in Jeuno/WG anyways. If you in jeuno it'll cost 300gil to get to jeuno. then get the imp. silver piece warp to home nation and run. . .yeeeeah, thats really hard and time consuming.

Honestly, if someone told me all you just said, I'd resume shouting for a Retrace. xD

Haha, I wouldn't have the guts to /sh and tell youse to stfu >_> Unless I was having a bad day. . .Heh. But yeah >_> I'm not mean, I do b*itch on my linkshell or find something to take my mind off it.

Another one, Paladins and Ninjas that do gear swaps that blink and when a healer complains they can't target them they tell them to get the BlinkMeNot plugin, and if they don't play on PC then they tell them to buy a new PC.

I believe in the latest update SE released a new <stpc> thingy or w/e that would allow you to continue to have PlayerX targeted even during gear swaps. I think the syntax thing is <stpt> or something like that.

Neg, if you have your cursor on someone and they blink, you'll lose target, whether it be sub target or main target. The way around this is to not be a noob healer make your macro /ma cure <stpc>. Then you just hit the F button that corresponds with who you want to cure right before you hit enter.

Something happened in Dynamis tonight that made me laugh and think of this thread. We were manaburning an Orc NM in Sandy (to avoid Charmga) and between nukes, when the NM was asleep, a Summoner put Garuda on it and told her to assault, subsequently waking the NM up. Everyone was spamming sleep and the Summoner kept Garuda on it. Took a sack yelling for him to dismiss it.

When everyone asked him why he did that, he goes "Wrong macro" XD

So I said, "You have a macro to summon Garuda, target the nearest NPC, then assault the NPC?".

He said "Sorta yeah".

So what grinds my gears? People who do silly things and blame macros!

I use "/ma Cure IV <t>" and just use the F buttons. Same result =P

Stolen from another thread: People who like fruit on their pizza D:

Also: You die in Campaign, you get raise, you get exp.
You die in Besieged however, and you get nothing except the imperial standing reward.

wut?

Would be cool if SE could fix something this easy. They seem to have made it possible in campaign anyway.

The other thing that bugs me is when people in Campaign pull (and link) all the mobs and take their party of buddies off to some secluded area in <zone> and hold the mobs for what could possibly be 20-30 minutes. Stack on the idea that I even bother to go out looking for the 10 mobs that are missing makes this a real pain.

Tarutaru's who don't accept that they're midgets, and commonly mistaken for small objects.

Their excuse is that it's a "zone" into an alternate Al Zahbi and the EXP is actually rewarded during the CS. After the CS you zone, losing progress. Like Tractor during the actual fighting.

Another thing that grinds my gears is a relic you're up for not dropping in six months, then as soon as you get it wants to drop twice each time in the next three runs. Damn you, relic rates.

Is that the one to keep them targeted while they gear swap? not really a big syntax user but that might be it.

Also what really grinds my gears is "WALL OF TEXT" please paraphrase. . .lol don't have 20min to read what you are trying to get across. . .because I am too busy running to [S] and not shouting for a Retrace xD. But yeah, WoT's sucks because interest in the topic is lost when there are 7500 characters in the gd box.

One thing that grinds my gears is we're not allowed to have signatures on cursed/uncursed armor. Seems pretty lame that it's obtained via crafting and abj yet doesn't alow the creator to personalize it.

I don't know what <lasttpc> is supposed to do, but I tried it out when I read that and got command errors, so maybe it's a typo, or maybe it's bs, or maybe it's some windower thing that I wouldn't know about. Either way, I think me and Woooodum both already said the easiest way around the missing cures due to gear swaps. You can still target someone in the brief period that they're still invisible after a gear swap (or longer periods in high lag) but you will lose target if your target is on them when they go invisible, so you just gotta be quick with macro > target > enter, or target > macro > enter or whatever floats your boat. I tend to tank a lot in nyzul isle thanks to pure damage output and no-one has ever complained about my blinking, 'cause I do blink a LOT, so really I think it's just something that mages need to get used to. Then again a rdm friend that I don't do nyzul with really struggled at first when we duo'd imps (mainly just so I can get chains faster while not spamming echo drops), she silena'd and cured herself a few times, 'cause I have one build for head butt/utsu and another for spells, and I generally alternate spell > head butt > spell > head butt, so I'm constantly blinking, and then I'll use magic hammer and that's another build all together, and then I swap out dusk gloves and put on w.legs and run off. She got the hand of it pretty quick though and it wasn't really an issue after 10-20 minutes. So yeah, as me and Woooodum already said, it's pretty easy to get around with some quick targeting. What annoys me way more than a pld changing gear, is a pld that won't *** stand still at the start of a fight. If I'm blu/thf I wanna TA disseverment as early as possible so I can run around to the back, use savage blade/expiacion without pulling hate and then pound the mob with some real damage. If the pld doesn't stop moving though, I can't land TA and the mob is half dead by the time I cast disseverment, and then there's no point me doing a self SC because it'll do 3k damage when the mob has 1k HP left.

Actually all I really wanted to say, is <3 WoT

Aye ; ; You'd think it would be pretty easy coding to transfer the signature from the cursed armour to the uncursed gear
