When people say something amazing happened but they don't say what happened and refuse to tell you.
I think that means it's super special to them but they're afraid 'cause it's just normal to everyone else. I kinda do that sometimes I think.

It still drives me nuts when anyone does it though.. It's like "Why the hell even mention it to me then?!"
Poor Slip! Here's the thing. I know too many of you on Facebook, and if any of you on Facebook spilled the beans I'd be forced to slap you then promptly disown you. But! My husband got a job offer at a nice place for when he graduates (August) and we've been invited there over a holiday before then to scope it out. I'm giddily proud of my man for being so damned awesome that companies are offering him jobs several months before he's even available, and I'm so psyched that we have a for sure place to go when he does graduate! Also, this is the company that I've been doing technical writing for and when the boss asked my husband, he also specifically asked for me, by name. So I don't know if he's keen on offering me a long-term job as well, but that sounds promising!
So I've been prancing around the house looking up stupid facts about the town that this company is in and wondering what life there would be like all afternoon. :D
But none of you tell anyone! We don't know yet 100% sure if we'll be taking the job offers so we don't want to tell our folks, and if any of you spill the beans and tell our folks on Facebook we'll never hear the end of it!
God I'm all excited now. WOOHOO! Future stability! Friggin AWESOME husband! Job offers/job stability dropped in our laps months before we officially need it! I don't think this day could possibly get any better. <3 <3 <3 :D :D :D
